"Rocky Heights Middle School in Littleton, Colorado takes students to a Mosque each year and forces them to bow and pray. The principal escalated things this year by demanding that all female students submit to a Sharia law based dress code."
"PEN America published a report this week summarizing the findings from a recent survey of 772 writers around the world on questions of surveillance and self-censorship. The report, entitled "Global Chilling: The Impact of Mass Surveillance on International Writers," builds upon a late 2013 survey of more than 500 US-based writers conducted by the organization. The latest survey found that writers living in liberal democratic countries "have begun to engage in self-censorship at levels approaching those seen in non-democratic countries, indicating that mass surveillance has badly shaken writers' faith that democratic governments will respect their rights to privacy and freedom of expression, and that—because of pervasive surveillance—writers are concerned that expressing certain views even privately or researching certain topics may lead to negative consequences."
"The worst whooping cough epidemic in seven decades has hit California this year, with nearly 10,000 cases having been reported by the end of November. Experts are warning that the vaccine currently being used to prevent the disease is partly to blame for the outbreak. A whooping cough, or pertussis, vaccine was introduced in the 1940s, but only after the mortality rate from the disease had already begun to decline sharply, likely due to better care of infected patients and the natural development of immunity. The vaccine appeared to be effective in reducing the incidence of pertussis, but it also produced significant side effects, including pain and swelling."
"They hate us because of our freedoms.” Who will ever forget this previous statement by one of the “intellectual giants” of our time, George W. Bush? Was George correct about the freedoms that Americans possess which would cause someone to do us harm out of envy? On the surface, we appear to have a lot to celebrate. Before every sporting event, the National Anthem is played. Before public meetings and before most schools commence their daily instruction, the Pledge of Allegiance is frequently recited. On the surface, Americans appear to have much to be thankful for with regard to the degree of freedom and the amount of opportunities available to us. In general, we just seem to be the happiest people on the face of the earth. However, the data tells a much different story. The United States is a nation in severe decline and it beginning to show up on our mental health which is a reflection of the troubled political and economic times that we find ourselves in."
"SWAT deliberately changed the address of a raid to the wrong house, leaving a family held at gunpoint for over an hour, including a breast-feeding mother and child, who happens to be married to a police officer, according to a lawsuit. The Fontana and Anaheim police departments have been named as defendants in a lawsuit after falsifying documents leading to a raid of an innocent family, that “shocked the conscience.” The incident began in March of 2014 after a repair store had reported a missing laptop to police. Security video from the location of the theft showed a new car, with no license plates, driving away from the scene. The laptop was equipped with gps tracking and the I-Crack Repair store had received a “ping” from someone bringing the laptop online. On March 9, I-Crack Repair reported the location of the ping to authorities. Police were given the address of 543 Eveningsong Lane in the suburbs of Anaheim Hills. The I-Crack representative also gave the police a screenshot of the address indicated by the “ping.” In response to the missing laptop, Anaheim police began a stakeout of the residence at 543 Eveningsong Lane. No activity was observed at 543 Eveningsong, however, Dan Nunley was in his driveway at 539 Eveningsong; he was also putting a license plate on his new car. Oddly enough, the representative from I-Crack Repair was on location during the stakeout and informed police that Dan Nunley was not the man in the surveillance footage, nor was it his house which sent the “ping.” The placing of the license plate on his car was simply a coincidence."
(Sgt Trainer: So...apparently these cops were so hyped about being able to play with their toys and scare someone they even proved that a cop's family is not even safe from this type of treatment?)
"The plan seems simple doesn’t it? All you need for the best chance of survival for your family is a well-stocked bug out bag, a keen attention to your surroundings and careful monitoring of what is happening in the news. With these two bases covered you will be a very informed prepper and will be able to get the jump on all of the clueless sheeple if something bad happens. You will load your family up with your bags and hike off into the sunset way ahead of the approaching death and destruction. You have a plan to bug out. It sounds perfect, but in this article I am going to try and convince you how that might not be the best and first option you should consider. There are many reasons and situations I can think of why you do not want to bug out from your home. You may be asking yourself, how can I even say those words on a prepper blog such as this without getting struck by lightning? It’s true that hunkering down is not the option that gets the most press, but in my opinion during most (but not all) scenarios, it is the better choice. That is unless you are a combat-trained Navy Seal. If you are like me, just an average guy with a family and a giant subterranean monster unleashed by nuclear experiments is not headed your way, you might want to stay put. Here are a few reasons why:"
"U.S. Firearms” is a small company originally famous for its quality SA revolvers, while their own version of Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol was never much popular. Interestingly enough, this company’s seat is located in Hartford, CT which is the home of “Colt Armory”, and their manufacturing program was so far based on Colt clones. However, their new .22 LR ZiP gun is something completely different and it certainly deserves closer inspection. We would do it justice if we called this a small caliber gadget, than a firearm. Most of the parts are made of plastic, save the steel barrel and a few springs, levers and bolts. Yes, we know that polymer frames are getting more popular by the day, however, this apparatus is far from confidence inspiring. It is reminiscent of all those old single shot devices concealed as pens, umbrellas, belt buckles or cameras. Generally those improvised firearms are called zip guns, and hence the name of the USFA new offspring. On the other hand, it’s worthwhile mentioning that the history of concealed firearms is full of accidents boiling down mostly to self-inflicted injuries. That possibility is more than real with this gun as well, as the new users must analyze it first from all sides in order to determine where the muzzle is. Its otherworldly shape says goodbye to ergonomic features, as you can never be sure if you’re holding a stapler or a nail gun."
"When you think about economic collapse, you probably envision all sorts of issues: food shortages, soup lines, people living in their cars, and abject poverty. But the reality is, many of the things that will personally affect you are those day-to-day conveniences that we take for granted. So many things are automated in our modern way of life that we don’t even consider what our ancestors had to do to keep their homes running smoothly. Most of us prepare so that we can smoothly deal with whatever comes our way. Part of the Preppernomics series will discuss day-to-day tasks that may change for us in the near future. This week, we’re going to talk about doing your laundry without the help of a washer and dryer. Why would you need to do this? We all know that anything that can go wrong, often does go wrong. While you may have a perfectly functioning washing machine now, that doesn’t mean it will always be available."
"A Wisconsin health care worker Katherine McQuestion received her flu vaccine as usual and later died from the flu. According to WISN, McQuestion’s mother said her daughter had received a flu shot as part of her job as a radiology technician while she worked at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie. Kenosha County Health Officer Cynthia Johnson shrugged the incident off as a fluke and used this opportunity to urge people to get vaccinated. “For the majority of people, they should get vaccinated because this is a very unusual case, and it typically doesn’t happen,” Johnson said. The concerning thing is Johnson seems unaware that the CDC on December 3rd rendered the 2014 flu vaccine useless as published by Reuters."
"Do you know what an “extremist” is? In the wake of the horrible terror attacks on the offices of Charlie Hebdo in France, Barack Obama is speaking very boldly about the need to win the war against “extremists”, and he has announced plans to host a major global summit on “extremism” next month. And on the surface that sounds great. But precisely how are we supposed to determine whether someone is an “extremist” or not? What criteria should we use? As you will see below, your definition of an “extremist” may be far, far different from the definition that Barack Obama is using. When you do a Google search, you will find that an “extremist” is defined as “a person who holds extreme or fanatical political or religious views, especially one who resorts to or advocates extreme action.” According to Wikipedia, “extremism” is “an ideology (particularly in politics or religion), considered to be far outside the mainstream attitudes of a society or to violate common moral standards. Extremism can take many forms, including political, religious and economic.” Please notice that neither of those definitions uses the word violence. In this day and age, you can be considered an “extremist” simply based on what you believe, and as you will see later in this article there are now tens of millions of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” according to official U.S. government documents."
"Auto Follow, or “Air Dog” drones are just the latest in drone technology. Drones may at some point become as common as cell phones. Cell phones with their videos and cameras, which seem to record virtually every event happening. Auto Follow drones are designed to follow anyone wearing a special tracking bracelet, and through a Smartphone app, the drone can fly to a set point using the apps’ pre-loaded loaded maps as well. The drone can fly to and then, record events at the set point and then fly back without you having to be at the controls."
"Never forget that treating disease in America is a high-profit business. Health care is one of the few situations in which the for-profit business providing services to a customer doesn’t need the customer (the patient) to agree to the price being charged. Instead, hospitals bill the federal government for services rendered to the patient, and the government sends the hospital a hefty check for each service rendered. The patient, meanwhile, never even knows how much was billed to the government. This is half the reason doctors and hospitals now routinely order a battery of useless blood labs and medical tests on patients. It has nothing to do with medical need and everything to do with padding the Medicare bills. But what happens when patients say NO and decide to opt out of the whole system? That’s a threat to the profits of the hospitals, doctors and drug companies. So what they’re increasingly doing today is kidnapping patients and forcing them to undergo expensive medical treatments against their will."
"The fabulous taste of bacon is more popular than ever. But if you are eating conventionally-produced bacon or other pork products, chances are great that you are consuming ractopamine, a livestock growth altering drug so dangerous that 160 countries around the world have banned its use. Not the U.S. though, where this chemical additive has been given the green light by the FDA, in spite of the fact that it endangers livestock and farm workers as well as consumers. Although the EU and Asia have banned ractopamine, estimates are that 80% of hogs produced in the U.S. and a lesser number of beef cattle are treated with the drug. In fact since 2013, Smithfield Foods a former U.S. company and the world’s largest producer of pork products, is now working for China and Russia producing ractopamine-free pork. Of course some of Smithfield’s remaining U.S. plants still spit out ractopamine-laced products for American consumption. Smithfield refers to these as delivering “differentiated products to meet customer specifications.”
"Monroe County, TN — A Tennessee man, who has committed no crime, was forced to file a federal lawsuit to try and get back his property after police robbed him during a traffic stop. El A. Willis wasn’t charged with a crime and never harmed anyone. However, Willis is now having to fight an uphill legal battle to get back $18,480.00 from the thieving hands of the Monroe County Sheriff’s department."
"Obama’s “brain initiative” is an incredibly scary project. Basically giving trauma survivors a high tech lobotomy with lasers, it effectively “erases” the memories- and such techniques are being used on soldiers now who are coming back from war zones with PTSD. Claiming that they can control mental health- they have been diligently trying to control the person who experiences trauma instead of eradicating the cause, this is a way to silence survivors and is basically an attack on the mental health of American citizens. One of the biggest issues I see with this is that memories are not only stored in the brain but also in the body. Touch, smell, and sound often trigger the traumatized person and without the ability to understand what the initial trauma was- disallows the person from understanding what is happening. This technique renders the survivors to be completely unable to process these triggers- and leaves the person vulnerable to overwhelming emotions without the ability to understand them. Nothing more than another level of mind control- the American government has found a new way to silence survivors."
"If you've spent more than 10 or 15 minutes researching anything at all to do with Prepping for emergencies or Survivalism, you have probably come across information pertaining to the purification of water taken from outdoor wilderness or other sources that might raise questions as to whether or not it is fit to drink. It is also important, though, to talk about possible sources from which to obtain clean potable drinking water in the event that you do not have the means to purify water from a questionable source. One such source that might often be overlooked is taking water directly from a tree. Now, let me just say that I don't necessarily endorse this method, unless it is truly a matter of survival. The bark of a tree is basically its skin, and breaking that bark to reveal an opening can expose the tree to disease and parasites that could ultimately kill it. There's no reason to be using this method at this point when you are simply enjoying outdoor living experiences like camping, fishing, hunting, or hiking, because other methods for obtaining clean water are readily available. I would say that the method I'm about to describe should typically be reserved for actual survival situations, and the method I'm speaking of is the use of a spile."
"Minnesota is the first state to attack precious metal bullion. Minnesota passed a law that is totally insane. They require anyone buying or selling bullion to register, keep records, and pay taxes besides handing over info. Normal antique coins, even Roman, can no longer be shipped to Minnesota. Dealers will not ship any coins, even collector coins, to Minnesota. Why? Because the politicians have defined “bullion” as ANY COIN containing more than just 1% of gold, silver, or platinum. Bullion is defined in Minnesota Statutes §80G.01, subd. 2 and means any coin containing more than one percent by weight of silver, gold platinum, or other.precious metal. Minnesota’s law has shut down ALL COIN BUSINESS in its state, even rare collector coins. When I warn that readers should buy COINS rather than BULLION, I am deeply concerned about this hunt for money. Governments are DEAD BROKE and instead of reforming, they are without question sending us in the direction of COMMUNISM and/or a pure DARK AGE. They are destroying the world economy so rapidly all because of this Marxist theory. This is not a joke."
(Sgt Trainer: Check the date on this article. This is apparently a new thing and not a resurfacing of the story from a couple of years ago.)
