"Cordyceps burst into the media spotlight in 1993 when a team of Chinese women’s track and field runners broke nine world records at the Chinese National Games in Beijing. Initially, the Chinese team was suspected of using steroids. After testing negatively for anabolic steroid use, the team’s coach revealed that the success of the Chinese athletes was not drug related but was instead the result of a daily Cordyceps elixir, which significantly boosts the body’s energy, endurance, stamina and overall vitality. This highly publicized episode launched the widespread use of Cordyceps by the World’s top athletes. "Cordyceps is considered in Asia to be a powerful athlete’s tonic. It has no steroidal constituents, but greatly improves performance and muscle building capability.”
"Maybe Mickey Mouse is responsible for spreading measles to children at Disneyland? This is a more likely hypothesis than health department claims that unvaccinated children are to blame for a recent outbreak that occurred at “the happiest place on Earth,” in which 39 people — and counting — from at least four states, according to the latest reports, have been confirmed as having contracted the disease while visiting the park. Official reports are claiming that unvaccinated children are to blame because some of those who contracted the measles hadn’t been vaccinated. Some of them had been vaccinated, of course, and the original source of the disease has yet to be determined. But like always, it is automatically those pesky individuals who choose not to inject their bodies with a vaccine linked to brain damage and autism — and that’s been shown to spread the measles — that must have triggered the outbreak. The interesting thing about this latest measles outbreak is that the media is parading it around as evidence that not getting vaccinated triggers disease outbreaks, even though the original source of the disease is unknown. It is entirely possible that a vaccinated person spread the disease to both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, which in and of itself shows the lack of effectiveness of vaccines."
"Incredibly, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has now ruled that you cannot be told about the amazing and potentially life-saving, infection-fighting properties of colloidal silver. Yet, since its discovery over 90 years ago, colloidal silver has saved more lives from deadly infections than any other natural substance in existence. Hundreds of studies conducted over the past 90 years at top medical universities in both Europe and America have confirmed the phenomenal infection-fighting powers of this safe, proven all-natural antibiotic substance. In fact, at Syracuse Medical University it was demonstrated by Dr. Robert 0. Becker, M.D. and his colleagues that colloidal silver ions can kill many of the deadly infectious microorganisms that no longer respond to prescription antibiotic drugs! And in laboratory tests colloidal silver has been demonstrated to kill over 650 different disease-causing pathogens — amazingly, most of them die within six minutes of direct contact!"
"Learning to stop smoking is not easy. You cough. You fidget. You crave. All you want is a cigarette. Just one. You want to go back to the day that you started this process and live that day over. But these days, your doctor can offer you a lot more help in the form of smoking cessation drugs. Yes, that’s right, they can even double your chance of quitting. There are just a few caveats, but no biggie. Besides increasing your hostility, agitation, depressed mood and suicidal thoughts, they’ll also elevate your risk for other psychiatric disorders, not to mention bring down your gastrointestinal, metabolic, nervous, endocrine, immunological, renal, respiratory and cardiovascular systems. But hey, at least you’ll quit smoking right?"
"Coffee contains a protein that has an effect similar to morphine, specialists at the University of Brasilia and Brazilian agriculture research company Embrapa have discovered. Moreover, the new substance’s effect lasts longer. The research was conducted by Felipe Vinecky of the Molecular Biology Department at the University of Brasilia (UnB) in cooperation with the Genetics and Biotechnology Division of state owned agriculture and livestock research company Embrapa. The research involved searching for and combining coffee genes to affect quality. In the course of study, the scientists managed to find new substances in the product. While analyzing the coffee genome sequence and corresponding proteins, Vinecky and his research adviser Carlos Bloch Junior found some proteins similar to those typical for humans. So they decided to synthesize their structural analogues and test their properties. The researchers “identified previously unknown fragments of protein — peptides — in coffee that have an effect similar to morphine, in other words they have an analgesic and sedative activity,” the Embrapa company press release said."
"Nobody knows or loves a child like his own parents, who bear the ultimate responsibility of guiding, nurturing and caring for the child both physically and emotionally. When it comes to childhood health and development, parents also have the responsibility of deciding whether or not to vaccinate, a decision that even the government admits is a serious one that carries “unavoidable risks.” No, we’re not talking about risks associated with not vaccinating — the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns that “adverse events have been reported after administration of all vaccines” and that these risks are “unavoidable.” Once a vaccine has been injected into a child’s body, chemicals and all, there is no turning back should it trigger a series of adverse, and potentially permanent, events. Many a parent has learned this the hard way, including Cilla Whatcott, HD (RHom), CCH, whose adopted daughter Lily suffered serious health problems after undergoing routine childhood vaccinations. The already underdeveloped young girl, who came from China, experienced a rapid surge in temperature, swelling and systemic inflammation following the administration of DPT, hepatitis B, polio and MMR vaccines."
"The Nuclear Regulation Authority on Wednesday gave the green light to Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s plan to dump toxic groundwater pumped up at the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear complex into the Pacific Ocean after removing almost all radioactive materials from it. The plan is one of the measures aimed at curbing the amount of contaminated water building up at the seaside complex. But it remains uncertain when the operator may actually release the water. Local fishermen have registered strong concerns that dumping the water will heighten consumer apprehension about marine pollution, and TEPCO has said it will not release the water unless it obtains consent from the locals."
"Fifty years after President Lyndon B. Johnson declared a “war on poverty,” and five years after President Obama’s administration declared the “Great Recession” over, a record number of Americans remain on taxpayer-supported federal and state assistance programs. According to the most recent government figures, as reported by CNSNews.com, more than 46 million Americans are not only currently receiving some level of food stamp assistance but have been receiving that assistance for more than three years straight. The news website further elaborated: The number of beneficiaries on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)–AKA food stamps–has topped 46,000,000 for 38th straight months, according to data released by the Department of Agriculture (USDA). In October 2014, the latest month reported, there were 46,674,364 Americans on food stamps. Food stamp recipients have exceeded 46 million since September 2011. The number of people receiving food stamps in October represented an increase of 214,434, up from 46,459,930 in September."
"Chemtrails. When you hear the word you might instantly correlate it with ‘conspiracy theory,’ but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Just because a neurosurgeon speaks out about them does not constitute it as truth. We don’t base our evidence of somebody observing lines in the sky and instantly deeming them as harmful chemicals designed to increase the rate of human ailments as proof. Although there is much merit in observing a phenomenon and listening to your inner voice/intuition to see if something doesn’t seem right, there is also merit when it comes to factual evidence regarding the chemtrail phenomenon and that is why more people within the mainstream world are choosing to speak out. It’s clear that chemtrails are very different from contrails. Not long ago, former British Columbia Premier Bill Vander Zalm said that “chemtrails are happening all over the world,” and now Neurosurgeon Russell L. Blaylock is getting involved. Obviously they wouldn’t be making such public statements if there wasn’t any evidence to back it up. These are two of many ‘credible’ people within the mainstream world that’ve come forward as of late. Dr Blaylock has voiced his concerns about nanoaluminum, neurodegenerative and the neurodevelopment effects of chemtrails(9). This article outlines some of the evidence regarding chemtrails aimed to illustrate that there is a reality behind this ‘conspiracy’. It is definitely something the public should be made aware of."
"For its upcoming National Seismic Hazard Map, used by engineers to update building and construction codes and by insurers to set policy rates, the U.S. Geological Survey(USGS) will take into account risks posed by induced or man-made earthquakes. For North Texas, where earthquakes are historically uncommon, an increase in earthquake risk is likely as the Dallas area has suffered more than 120 earthquakes since 2008. Scientists have attributed these earthquakes to nearby fracking operations."
"Sheriffs are campaigning to pressure Google Inc. to turn off a feature on its Waze traffic software that warns drivers when police are nearby. They say one of the technology industry’s most popular mobile apps could put officers’ lives in danger from would-be police killers who can find where their targets are parked."
"The internet is filled with preparedness info. Some of it is good and some of it is bad, or not accurate. And some of it you want to keep forever…or at least for when the SHTF. The internet has made it so convenient to share information. You might wonder what you ever did before Google and your favorite preparedness website. Knowing how valuable the information on preparedness websites are to preppers, could there ever be a time when you don’t have access to the internet? The ever so popular topic of an EMP or CME comes up often. We don’t know for sure what would happen, but many plan on instantly being transported to the Dark Ages. Then there is the possibility of terrorists taking down our grid. Some can also forsee the government shutting down access to big portions of the internet. Many preppers have decided to create their own Preparedness Binders packed with important information that is relevant to their family and situation in case they can’t ever get to the internet or have to bug out. This is a good idea."
"With the start of the new-year, there always seem to be several articles that come out promoting guns as part of a preparedness solution. And it’s an unfortunate fact that firearms have become almost synonymous with Preppers and disaster preparedness. I will explain why that is truly unfortunate… Sadly, thanks largely to movies and bloggers with little or no ‘real’ long-term survival experience, far too much emphasis is placed on owning battle rifles as a primary part of survival or Prepper equipment. First of all, survival and disaster preparedness really have nothing to do with ‘battle rifles’ or assault weapons as they are sometimes called (AR-15, AK-47, etc.). Having owned and sold many of these guns, as well as many other battle rifles in a past life as a licensed Federal Firearms Dealer, I have to confess that they are fun to shoot and have a certain appeal as collectable representative weapons of many past and current military engagements."
"To get a better understanding about people and try to avoid making mistakes about who we think they are, we need to learn how to read people and profile them. When I say “profile” people I don’t mean by race or social class, as a matter of fact we need to take those preconceived notions and throw them out the window if we want to get an accurate picture about a person. There are plenty of low income people who would give anything they could to help anybody, and there are plenty of middle class or upper class people that would steal the shirt off your back if it meant their survival. As a matter of fact, I think that the unprepared middle class entitlists pose a bigger threat in a SHTF situation than someone with a lower income because entitlests are used to having everything given to them. I’m not going to get into a whole psychology lesson here, but I will go over some of the basic things we can do to get a better picture about how someone might react in a crisis."
"One of the things that I try to keep in mind when prepping is to ensure that when an unexpected situation arises, it is important to remain calm and focused. You’ll want to be as stress free as possible. Here’s where I’m going with this. Prepping to me in terms of gardening and survival is to ensure that healthy, nutritious, energy pack food is available. Onions are part of the allium family of vegetables and herbs, which also includes chives, garlic, scallions and leeks. Allium vegetables have been cultivated for centuries for not only their pungent flavors but also for their medicinal properties. Onions are one source of the strong antioxidant and vitamin C that helps to combat the formation of free radicals associated with various forms cancer. The onion, like all members of the allium family, are rich in sulfur. That sulfur content can lend the onion antibiotic and antiseptic qualities that are often put to good use by the Herbalist or home remedy practitioners. Onions can vary in size, shape, color and flavor. The most common types are red, yellow and white onion. Flavors can vary from sweet and juicy with a mild flavor to sharp, and even spicy. It is estimated that 105 billion pounds of onions are harvested each year worldwide. The possible health benefits of consuming onions include lowering the risk of several types of cancer, improving mood and maintaining the health of skin and hair that I will be briefly discussing them below:"
"The TSA is disappointed that so few Americans have opted out of its bottle-tossing, package-groping screenings by signing up for its PreCheck program. For a few years now, the TSA has been selling travelers' civil liberties back to them, most recently for $85 a head, but it's now making a serious push to increase participation. The TSA can't do it alone, so it's accepting bids on its PreCheck expansion proposal. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking vendors for TSA Pre√® Application Expansion initiative to develop, deliver, and deploy private sector application capabilities expanding the public's enrollment opportunities for TSA Pre✓® through an Other Transactional Agreement (OTA) awarded by TSA. The Government plans to award an OTA to multiple vendors. The Government will evaluate the proposed ready-to-market solutions' application capabilities against this TSA Pre√® Expansion Initiative Solicitation and Statement of Work. This will involve a new pre-screening process to weed out terrorists by looking through a variety of "commercial data" sources. The proposal is very vague on the details of what "commercial data" will be used by these third parties."
"There are a lot of reasons to build your own Internet. In some places, you may have access to the Internet, but not particularly like your service provider or those monitoring and regulating your network. In other places, you may have no Internet (or telecom network) at all. The solution is not to wait for someone to build the network that meets all your requirements, the answer is to build that network yourself! An interesting Make Magazine article on what are called "Meshnets" appeared in November 2014. In it, they describe Hyperboria, a project which aspires to create a global mesh network. A mesh network is basically a completely decentralized peer-to-peer version of the Internet. Local mesh networks are created where local users can communicate with one another and access information hosted locally by each user. A local mesh network, in turn, can be connected with another, then another and another until coverage is regional or even national."
