(Sgt Trainer: Funny...but so true!)
"Drought-stricken California, which just had its driest January ever recorded, smashed another dismal record last month: the hottest February. This will be the 5th year in a row of historic drought in California, breaking a 120 year old record. California is the largest populated state in the country. One out of eight Americans reside in sunny, warming, no rain, CA. Our economy is recognized as the 8th largest in the world with Central Valley farmers producing some 42% of the nations food supplies for decades. For the second year in a row the Federal Water Agency, which controls CA mountain snowpack runoff, announced that zero water would be allocated to the 3300 state water agencies that it has supplied water to from the Sierra Nevada Mountain ranges for the past 54 years. Until recently the states “ice chest” had accounted for 44% of the state’s annual water budget."
"Heizer Defense is making the PAK1 “Pocket AK Pistol” official, and it’s a single-shot derringer chambered for 7.62x39mm, the original AK-47 cartridge. These little guns may have started out as a last-ditch option in concept, but where they really shine is at the range, where fun is measured in fireballs. The Pocket AK will get its full debut at the upcoming NRA Annual Meeting in Nashville April 10 through 12. This expands the Heizer family to four cartridges following the launch of the Pocket AR in .223 Remington and the first Heizer derringer, the .410-bore/.45 Colt Pocket Shotgun."
"GLOBAL CRASH PESSIMISM IS THE ONLY SANE POSITION TO ADOPT. DEBT FORGIVENESS REMAINS THE ONLY SANE WAY TO PREPARE FOR IT."
"At the leadership levels, both parties are working in concert together. The differences between the parties are only at the lower levels, where party members are more idealistic and ignorant of the conspiracy taking place above them. Yet, NO ONE, not Glenn Beck, not FOX News, not Rush Limbaugh, not CNN, not MSNBC, NO ONE will allow any discussion on this subject. Anyone who dares talk about it is immediately censored or lampooned as a “conspiracy nut.”
"The maker of Tylenol pleaded guilty in a Federal Court on Tuesday to selling liquid medicine contaminated with metal. McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, pleaded guilty in a Federal District Court in Philadelphia to a criminal charge of manufacture and process of adulterated over-the-counter medicines. The company agreed to a $25 million settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice."
"Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC), the chairman of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, released a manual to help Americans prepare for terrorist attacks and cyber crimes. “There are U.S. cells today of terrorists that we’re all aware of. I chair the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism, and so I’m conscious of the concerns, and I just think we would be wise as a country to prepare ourselves better for what could happen,” Rep. Pittenger told Breitbart News when asked to explain his motive for releasing the Terrorism Preparedness Manual.
"From July 15th to September 15th of 2015, the US Army's Green Berets, US Navy Seals, US Marines Special Ops Command and US Air Force Special Ops Command will be taking part in 'Jade Helm 15', 8 weeks of night time drills in 7 states in the southwestern portion of America in which the states of Texas and Utah are both labeled 'hostile' territory in the 'drills' as outlined in more detail in the US Army Special Ops Command documents embedded below."
"Cordage is one of the most useful tools you can have in the wild. It can be used as fish line, traps and snares, shelter building and bow strings. If you run out of paracord or don’t have any in the first place, natural cordage can save you a lot of headache."
"The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Wednesday confirmed the discovery of highly pathogenic avian influenza in a commercial turkey flock in Arkansas, the third-largest U.S. turkey producer and home to Tyson Foods Inc, the nation's biggest chicken company. Shares of Tyson and other poultry companies, including Pilgrim's Pride Corp and Sanderson Farms Inc, tumbled on concerns the discovery will further limit U.S. trade with Asia and Latin America. Tyson's stock price fell 5.6 percent to $37.55 after hitting a five-month low of $37.35. The infected flock of 40,020 turkeys in Boone County, Arkansas, is located within the Mississippi flyway, a migratory route along which the same strain of H5N2 bird flu was previously identified in Minnesota and Missouri."
"In another awkward blow to the rapidly waning US-dollar hegemony, America and Britain just had their “It’s not you, it’s me” moment. Late yesterday, the government of the United Kingdom announced that they would be applying to join the Chinese-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank… as a founding member. This is huge."
"US statement says of UK membership that it is ‘worried about a trend of constant accommodation’ of China, in a rare public breach in the special relationship."
"In the most recent example of why pensioners in the US should perhaps be a bit concerned about the security of their benefits, a new report suggests that the government agency in charge of backstopping private-sector pension plans (the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation) isn’t entirely optimistic about its own ability to provide an effective safety net for multi-employer plans."
"Americans continue to name the government (18%) as the most important U.S. problem, a distinction it has had for the past four months. Americans’ mentions of the economy as the top problem (11%) dropped this month, leaving it tied with jobs (10%) for second place."
"Since people are talking about 47 Senators sending a message to Iran, we should talk about a real treasonous message from a Senator in 2008. It seems there’s a great deal of anger and frustration from the Obama administration that 47 Senators signed a letter, explaining the Constitution to Iran. It seems that the left would like you to think it is treason, although seven times Democrats went behind the president’s back to “advise” our enemies. While the list includes actual treason by Teddy Kennedy making a deal with the KGB, there is a sitting world leader that committed actual treason with Iran in a secret eighth time they went behind the president’s back since 1983."
"This summer beware: Is your neighbor having a cookout? Call the police, they could be a terrorist! This is no joke, it’s a sad state of affairs when no one is questioning the absurdity of the alleged war on terror (barbecuing)! The following B.S. bulletin prepared by the DHS of Intelligence and the FBI’s Directorate of Intelligence and the National Counterterrorism Center was issued in January to law enforcement and first responders throughout the country. Since the May 2010 publication of the Roll Call Release “Terrorist Use of Propane Cylinders,” terrorists have continued to advocate the use of propane cylinders in building improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Throughout 2014, al-Qa‘ida-inspired violent extremists posted on the Internet English-language instructions for building and using propane IEDs and encouraged attacks in the United States. The posts recommended military, commercial, and financial sector targets, major metropolitan areas, and mass gatherings. If you spot one of these terror cylinders in your neighbor’s backyard please notify law enforcement:
"Today billionaire Eric Sprott warned King World News that the entire global financial system is now facing the greatest danger in history. He then issued the most dire prediction of 2015. Eric King: “We had (the stock market collapse) of 2001 – 2003. Then we had (the more intense collapse of) 2007, 2008, 2009. The next one (collapse) is going to be worse because that’s just how these cycles progress. As you know, they (seizures in the global financial system) get more violent and the collapses become more and more intense. People couldn’t imagine it would get worse than 2001 – 2003, and yet we had 2007 – 2009. This one that’s in front of us, I’m assuming it's going to be the mother of all collapses.”
"As schools across the country continue to struggle to comply with food restrictions championed by first lady Michelle Obama, supporters of the federal regulations are reframing the issue as one of national security. Retired rear admiral Casey Coane recently wrote in to The Hill to make the case for why school food restrictions on fat, sugar, salt, calories and other nutritional aspects are necessary to keep our country safe. “As a retired rear admiral, I view the school lunch program as one of our most important assets in the battle against obesity, which is a major problem for the military because almost one in three young adults in the U.S. is too overweight to serve,” Coane wrote."
"A man and his fiancee have sued Rent-A-Center and a western Pennsylvania police department claiming he was wrongly arrested because company employees falsely said he had a gun when they came to repossess furniture."
"On Tuesday March 10th, Senators Cory Booker, Rand Paul, and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the introduction of legislation to legalize marijuana for medical use, drugpolicy.org reports."
"The Massachusetts secretary of state’s office has ruled that records related to criminal charges of police officers are exempt from state public records law, giving police chiefs and other officials the power to keep information related to wrongdoing in their departments secret. The rulings were issued after the Boston Globe challenged several departments’ refusal to release records pertaining to misconduct by their officers. Among the decrees, the secretary of state’s office asserted that Boston police can withhold the names of five officers caught drunk driving, and that state police can withhold reports on an officer who was arrested. For what? No one knows."
"Description: As the National Guard trains with other civilian agencies to react to a natural disasters, gun confiscation is one of their training exercises. But due to pushback from the American people they have now changed the name to door to door “wellness checks”. It’s important to show this video to all service men, they need to speak out about these illegal activities and refuse to participate if asked. National guardsman are the last line of defense, it is important to educate them so they will not be pawns in a federal government gun confiscation program."
"After the Fukushima accident, Hillary Clinton signed a deal permitting Japan to continue importing irridated fish and other goods to the US, even while other nations are turning them away. These goods continue to land on our shelves and in restaurants. 100% of blue fin tuna tests positive for high levels of radiation. I avoid rice, tea, sushi, electronics, vehicles, and even cosmetics that originate from or are manufactured in Japan. Many women’s cosmetics, even high end ones, such as Trish McAvoy, are made in Japan. Dior is not. Japan can’t stop the melt downs. They will continue spewing out radition for years to come. Japan is finished. She just doesn’t know it yet."
"Prozac may not be the only way to get rid of your serious blues. Soil microbes have been found to have similar effects on the brain and are without side effects and chemical dependency potential. Learn how to harness the natural antidepressant in soil and make yourself happier and healthier. Read on to see how dirt makes you happy."
"I was out in the yard one beautiful May afternoon when I made an exciting discovery. It was a tall, scraggly plant towering a good foot and a half above the other weeds scattering our overgrown yard. I crouched down to get a closer look and immediately noticed the heart-shaped pods growing along the lanky stem– I’d recognize them anywhere. It was Shepherd’s Purse! I have attempted to grow it from seed in the past without luck, so I was thrilled to find it thriving wild all over our lawn. The more I looked, the more Shepherd’s Purse plants I discovered around our home. What was so exciting about discovering this “weed” in my yard is that not only is it edible and delicious, it also has medicinal properties as well. We’ll delve into that more in a moment."
"A public health epidemic of loneliness may be afoot. A new study from Brigham Young University has found loneliness and social isolation can predict early death similar to the risks predicted by obesity."
"Health experts around the world recommend people incorporate these 6 seeds in their diets. Whether you sprinkle these over your breakfast cereal or have them as a health boosting snack, you can’t go wrong with seeds."
"The FDA has issued an advisory after five cases of listeriosis were linked to Blue Bell ice cream products from the production facility in Brenham. All five patients ate the ice cream while being treated at a single hospital in Kansas between January 2014 and January 2015. Three of them died. No one suspected the infection came from ice cream until four strains of Listeria monocytogenes were found in Blue Bell products last month by the South Carolina Health Department. The Texas Department of Health was notified and they collected product samples from the Brenham facility that turned up Listeria monocytogenes. The FDA notified health departments in other states."
"I recently cut myself pretty deep on the inside of my palm, and even though the cut healed up relatively well and cleanly, I did notice some bruising around the wound channel as it healed. I realized how messed up my wound looked, mostly considering it was a pretty large and reasonably deep cut in the first place, so I figured it would be a good time to sit down and do some serious research on infections, necrosis, and bruising to be sure that nothing was wrong with my own cut. Here are my findings."
"Those of us who live as self-sufficiently as possible love to forage. From wild greens to wild meat, foraged foods make their way onto our tables as often as possible. But most people don't think about the fact that a homestead staple is available under our very noses and ready to forage every minute of the day. It is, you might say, as common as the air we breathe, since it is in the air we breathe: Yeast."
"A February YouGov survey of 1,000 respondents has found that Americans aren’t confident in their abilities to survive a SHTF event. In all, 71% of respondents believe they wouldn’t last a week in post-SHTF America."
"Fear can be the ultimate motivator. People in a plane that is rapidly plummeting to the ground are suddenly motivated to clasp their hands together and hastily scream a prayer that they haven’t felt compelled to whisper since elementary school. Some live by the philosophy that without fear there would never be an opportunity to exhibit great courage. I disagree that fear should be anyone’s ultimate motivator, and I believe fear-fueled prepping is dangerous and foolish. Prepping because you have given fear a name such as an F5 tornado, a great flood, civil war, an EMP, a worldwide pandemic, etc. could prove deadly for you and your loved ones. Don’t stock up on food and supplies out of fear, instead be confident in your abilities, gather what you can for any given situation and make it part of who you are, how you think, and how you react."
"Gold and silver vary from each other in quite a few ways, so we wrote this article to specify all the differences and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each metal. The topic we will be covering for gold and silver includes each metal’s price and the price ratio between the two, each metal’s liquidity, storage of the metals, and the markup for buying each metal."
"If you think that a small, reliable, and easy to conceal pistol could be a lifesaver for you and your family, then this article is for you. This pistol must be easy to shoot without too many slide controls to confuse the shooter. The caliber should not be too heavy as to frighten the shooter or cause the shooter to develop poor shooting habits. Before you buy any pistol, do your homework and study to find out which pistol is right for you. There are hundreds of pistols out in the marketplace, and each have their good points and their bad points. Also, each person has their own private requirements, needs, and wants for their private concealed carrying pistol."
