"Some of you may be under the impressions that if you are not in a Prepper group then you are considered a lone wolf Prepper. There is a middle ground, however. It is not an either or situation, and you do not have to choose, and frankly, you should thoroughly investigate any Prepper group you are considering joining. This article is not advocating for or against any position, only you can decide. The facts are that most people today cannot survive living alone for an extended period away from society, or away from others that have certain skill sets and training. You may have training in a particular field, you may even be a skilled surgeon, but this does not mean you know everything. Even skilled professionals need other professionals. A lone wolf can be described as someone that shuns society and the company of others hence the name lone wolf. The generally accepted definition of a lone wolf is someone that once lived among others, but then left the pack, if you will, to survive on their own. In the animal kingdom once a wolf leaves the pack there is no going back, either the wolf survives or not, the pack has moved on."
"In a shocking interview with PBS, billionaire mutual fund icon Jack Bogle, revealed that Wall Street is unapologetically stealing from millions of hard-working Americans. Bogle showed how “70% of your market returns” go straight to the pockets of Wall Street, and only 30% actually goes to you, the investor. And Bogle should know. Bogle, who founded the Vanguard Group in 1974, has had a decades-long insider’s view of the entirely corrupt fee structure on Wall Street. So he knows how American retirees are being fleeced by hidden fees that most investors never see. And at a recent private event, Steve Forbes echoed this same shocking claim.
"The Depart of Justice issues a report on vaccine injuries and deaths every quarter to the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (click on “Meeting Book PDF – 11 MB” and start reading at page 51.). This March 5, 2015 report states that there were 117 cases for vaccine injuries and deaths compensated from 11/16/2014 to 2/15/2015. 92 of the settlements were listed in the report, giving the name of the vaccines, the injury, and the amount of time the case was pending before settlement. Five of those settlements were for deaths linked to vaccines, with three deaths related to the flu shot. 73 of the 92 settlements were for injuries and deaths due to the flu shot, and the majority of flu shot injuries were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome. These quarterly reports on vaccine injuries and death settlements from the U.S. vaccine court are seldom, if ever, reported in the mainstream media. We report them here at Health Impact News. Here is the March 5, 2015 report:"

"If you’re worried about your child contracting measles, whooping cough or one of the other scary-sounding infectious diseases being hyped up by the mainstream media right now, you might want to steer clear of recently vaccinated children rather than the unvaccinated. What you’re not being told by the corporate media is that attenuated vaccines like MMR, the proposed solution to the contrived Disneyland measles outbreak, shed live viruses for weeks or even months following vaccination, spreading vaccine-strain infections to others. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated children alike are at risk from recently vaccinated children, who are walking disease carriers spreading viruses and, in some cases, triggering disease outbreaks. This is never spoken about by the sell-out talking heads on TV, but it’s a scientific fact that simply can’t be ignored in light of the current national conversation on vaccines. Practicing nephrologist, or kidney specialist, Dr. Suzanne Humphries spoke about this during a recent lecture, in which she highlighted the technological advancements that have allowed for vaccine-strain viruses to be identified in children. “There were several cases of measles outbreaks occurring in children who had just been vaccinated,” explained Dr. Humphries."
"A casual look at this Taurus Judge (or similar) might make you think that Bubba the Gunsmith has been gunsmiting [stet] again. But it turns out there’s a reason for this being so smitten: read on, after casting eyes on the Bubbalicious product."
"Arsenal Inc. proudly introduces the limited edition “Las Vegas” SAM7R Modern Sporting Rifle. Each rifle features a solid-silver, high-relief medallion embedded in the stock. This limited edition rifle celebrates Arsenal’s Las Vegas heritage and its support for the Las Vegas Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America has introduced more youth to the sport of shooting than almost any organization. For over 100 years, the Boy Scouts have actively trained young shooters to respect and safely handle firearms. Arsenal recognizes that young people are the key to the future of shooting sports and the protection of our constitutional rights. As such, Arsenal supports organizations, such as the Boy Scouts, that introduce young people into the sport of shooting. In addition to being the title sponsor of the annual Las Vegas Area Council Sporting Clays event, Arsenal will donate $100 from the proceeds of every limited edition rifle sold to the Boy Scouts."
"Learning how to properly reload, shoot on the move and perform immediate and remedial actions is a must for anyone looking to master the art of modern self-defense. But what if you’re injured and can only use one hand? You’d better hope you can still operate the weapon and survive, but hope is not a tactic. Training and preparing is a tactic and thankfully, one-handed operation for pistol use just became a whole lot simpler. (Warning!: For those not familiar with one handed fighting, it’s absolutely important to remember never to practice any technique described here using live rounds. Use dummy rounds for training.) This newly developed tactical tool isn’t just for police, but it was designed for police by a police officer. It’s called Magnetactical, and it helps shooters fight when injured."
"The British Security Industry Authority (BSIA) estimates there are up to 5.9 million closed-circuit television cameras scattered throughout the UK, including 750,000 in “sensitive locations” such as schools, hospitals and care homes. This statistic was released in 2013 as well. Do you think they decided to halt the expansion of their Orwellian state at any point over the past two years? The safe bet is that these numbers have grown exponentially. The truly remarkable and almost unfathomable piece of information regarding CCTV cameras in the United Kingdom is that no one really knows how many there are. Simon Adcock, of the BSIA, said in 2013, “Because there is no single reliable source of data, no number can ever be held as truly accurate.“ So basically what Simon is saying is that there are so many of these damn things, we lost count a long time ago. It appears the BSIA has guesstimated a number for the purpose of appeasing the general population. And now for the kicker… There are apparently not enough surveillance cameras to spy on the innocent citizens of the United Kingdom, according to Scotland Yard. Sir Bernard Hogan Howe, the head of London’s Metropolitan Police Service, is now urging residents to put CCTV cameras in their homes and businesses. Because safety. It gets better though…"
(Sgt Trainer: Well, it had to happen sooner or later! Of course, if this does occur, they could just tape over the lens!)
"Well, this is about as dark as it gets but it needs to be said. As we’ve known all along, chemtrails are a multi-faceted program. It’s the ultimate delivery system. By poisoning our air it affects every living thing, much like chemically or biologically altering a pond in order to affect all the fish. With this massive program in place, even though they won’t even admit its obvious existence, anything can be loaded onto these air tankers at any time and sprayed onto unsuspecting humanity. While the known metallic elements of nano sized aluminum and barium and a host of other toxic ingredients are accepted generally to be used for at least for massive weather modification programs, there are other even more nefarious elements that we’ve been ingesting over the years. Hold on, this isn’t going to be pleasant and may give you a sense of dread and helplessness, but the fact that we are aware of these programs and are each way more than just the composite of our biological make up is where our true empowerment will always remain. As I’ve said many times before, their matrix is collapsing in its many levels of control and deceit, but it won’t go down without very violent and even cataclysmic death throes that will affect all of us."
"There is a common theme in most of the dystopian, post-apocolyptic, zombie, killer virus, alien invasion novels that goes unnoticed by many reviewers and readers alike. Perusal of the vast survivalist and prepper websites out there shows few articles or references made to this theme. Yet, it remains the most fundamental aspect of survival– self-awareness. I mean that no matter how many gadgets, survival kits, food kits, and weapons you have, if you are not mindful of how you will react to fear, sadness, loneliness, and loss, your survival is threatened."
"Every autumn, you'll see us bustling about, cleaning gardening tools and putting them away; preparing our compost piles for winter; putting snow brushes and kitty litter into our vehicles; and essentially getting ready to hunker down for the winter. One of the final things that I do every single year is to unhook my garden hose, coil it up and store it, and then make sure that the spigot is turned off and its fancy little hat is put on. After all, the last thing that I want in the middle of winter is a broken pipe because I didn't prepare properly... You see where this is going, right? If not, let me fill you in. The morning of March 3, as I was starting my day, I went downstairs and while I was down there, I decided to reset my internet router. Imagine my confusion as I approached the office and heard running water coming from the laundry room! I asked my son about it and he assured me that he hadn't started any laundry. I believed him; after all, he is a teenager! Figuring I needed to take a closer look, I stepped into the laundry room, and followed the noise right to the hatch door that drops down into my basement. I didn't want to open it; I was honestly afraid of what I might find. It turns out I should have listened to my fears, because once I opened it, all I saw was water gushing out of a broken pipe and falling to the basement floor. Now, if I'd listened to Erin and had prepared for things, this would have been easy. Since I'm stubborn or something and didn't listen, let me fill you in on what happened after that."
"Spinning is one of those skills that, once ubiquitous, has become something of a novelty. In the past, spinning your own yarn with a drop spindle or spinning wheel was as common as cooking dinner. Everybody used to spin. If you are alive on the earth today, you have ancestors who spun. The industrial revolution pretty much obliterated spinning as a cottage industry, and spinning dropped out of the public consciousness as a result. This is particularly evident in the sheer number of film adaptations of fairy tales that don’t get it right. (By the way, Princess Aurora, that was the distaff, not the spindle!) Spinning your own yarn saw a slight revival beginning in the 1970’s when more people saw the merits of spinning one’s own yarn. My mom was one of these, and I learned from her. Today, thousands of people spin. Most major metropolitan areas on the United States have a spinning guild."
"Topographic maps are rich in symbols. Specific to a location, symbols identify features such as buildings, springs, bench marks, mines and bridges. The United States Geologic Survey’s (USGS) guide Topographic Map Symbols is four pages long and lists dozens of symbols. To view the USGS’s complete listing go here. The following graphics are a sampling from Topographic Map Symbols. The symbols below are those used for rivers, lakes and canals. Note the different colors used."

"There’s no question that Americans are getting fed up with President Obama’s executive orders and obvious lack of respect for our system of checks and balances, which is likely why outrage ensued after the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said that it would no longer allow the popular M855 armor piercing round to be exempted from the list of banned ammunition. Americans pushed back against the executive overreach with all of our might, and this time we won. The ATF said that the guide would be corrected to include the currently exempted armor piercing ammunition, and that the agency “apologizes for any confusion cause by this publishing error.” However, as TheBlaze notes, it likely wasn’t a publishing error. In fact, last week, White House spokesman Josh Earnest defended the rule change, saying the administration is actively seeking ways to protect law enforcement from criminals."
"For most Americans, the fact that the United States has filed with the United Nations a document pledging to submit to UN military authority and to dismantle our own military capability in the process would seem unbelievable. The “progressives” have set us down that path and while it won’t happen overnight, they fully intend for it to happen. The stated objective is for the United States military to be dismantled and absorbed in part into a domestic police force as well as integrated into the UN “peacekeeping” force with dominion over the United States."
"While China, Iran, Russia, and other countries are building up their military strength, utilizing technology that has turned the US military into sitting ducks, flexing their military and nuclear capability might, the US is dismantling their military piece by piece, military leader by military leader, dollar by dollar, along with our nuclear stockpiles, and pouring more and more resources into the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), stockpiling weapons, ammo, trying to federalize the local law enforcement agencies, and declaring American citizens a "greater threat" than terror groups such as ISIS."
"We are living through a time that will go down in the history books as one of epic economic turmoil. Instead of three economic groups (Rich, Middle Class, and Poor) we are quickly dividing into two groups: richer and poorer. If you dutifully go to work and punch the clock, then come home and pay your bills, you’ll end up with little to show for it but indentured servitude to “the system.” If your kids go into debt to attend college, they will very likely come out unable to find a job that will allow them to do more than pay off their student loans. “Success” is becoming as ephemeral as fog for people those who play the game of life by the former rules. It’s time to change your strategy to emphasize creating cash flow over savings if you want to weather this crisis. A recently published real estate report showed exactly how true this is:"
"Update! Please all of you South Carolinians forgive me for initially putting an ‘s’ in the middle of Spartanburg in my first post! And, secondly, I was just informed that some parts of the Spartanburg area are represented by Rep. Trey Gowdy. All readers should know that Gowdy is the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security that has jurisdiction over the Refugee Resettlement program and should know the threat this resettlement poses for his district! Editors note: In my previous post I said our next two posts would be about how far along the Obama Task Force on New Americans “integration” (aka seeding) plan is in a couple of cities that are overloaded with refugees, however, reader Robin spotted this news which is more pressing at the moment! Spartanburg beware! South Carolina beware! Over the years, we have noticed that South Carolina has pretty much stayed out of the top tier of states where refugee seedlings are being planted. Looks like those days are over as it was announced that World Relief (Evangelicals) one of the TOP NINE federal resettlement contractors is about to open an office there!"
"Imagine being forced to pay a yearly fee because you are a gun owner. Imagine having an unelected bureaucrat, or even a clerk from a private company, deciding that you must dispose of certain of your firearms or face legal and financial issues. Imagine this all happens with no change in the law, no vote, and no debate. This is the stuff of nightmares for gun owners. Yet it is happening while we are awake and inattentive. Health care issues touch every part of our lives. They are also deeply personal. We think nothing of undressing in front of our doctors, sharing our most secret and personal concerns, and depending upon them for our future well being. For these reasons, our health has always been considered our own business. Until now. The ACA, also known as Obamacare, has taken much of the privacy, choice, and trust out of our relationships with our health care providers. It also seems destined to make things far more complicated and expensive for us all. Yet for gun owners it holds the potential to additionally complicate and increase the expense of making use of our Second Amendment rights."
"The legally armed attendee, 22-year-old Joshua Wade, was approached by the choir director before the show started, later escorted to the lobby by police who were called by the director and was then publicly photographed and outed by another concert attendee eager to inform the audience of Wade’s status. “I told everyone I thought they should be aware that while they were at the concert watching their kids that there was someone with a firearm and ammunition and maybe we want to think about that,” Brian DiBlassio told Michigan Live of the incident. DiBlassio explained that he had approached Wade in between sets and attempted to take his picture while urging others at the event to contact the local school board members and state representatives about guns in schools. Wade, a former janitor for the school district, was abiding by state and local laws that allow a concealed pistol license holder to openly carry on campus providing they are there lawfully. Those without a permit, according to state law, could face up to 93 days in jail on a misdemeanor charge."
"As more and more officers across the country expose quota systems within their departments the mission of the American police officer is becoming quite clear; revenue generator. As there is no money in solving murders or preventing rapes, police departments in America have focused their duties on traffic citations and the drug war. Both of these venues are highly profitable for departments. City and state governments have become so addicted to these revenue streams that we are now seeing full-on military raids on people in fruitless attempts to find drugs and money. Along with the drug raids, we are seeing police officers forced to collect a certain amount of revenue through traffic enforcement, or risk losing their jobs. Over the weekend, 4 more state troopers from Tennessee exposed their department for enforcing a quota system. There would be many more according to the troopers, but their fellow cops are afraid to speak up for fear of retaliation."
"The transformation of the American Dream, most broadly manifested in popular folklore as the aspiration of the US middle-class to own a home (even if it means agreeing to a 30-year loan with one’s friendly neighborhood TBTF bank), into the American Nightmare, in which an entire generation (the Millennials) is locked out of purchasing a home due to over $1 trillion in student loans hanging over every financial decision, an abysmal jobs market (for everyone but college educated “waiters and bartenders” whose hiring is on a tear), and banks’ unwillingness to lend money to anyone that can fog a mirror, and forcing millions of Americans to rent instead of buy, has been duly documented here before. As we showed most recently in October, the officially reported US homeownership rate, after peaking during the first housing/credit bubble, has been plunging in a straight line and is now the lowest since 1994."
"Most Prepper types that I know appear to have a common trait: they are good at evaluating risks then moving to mitigate those risks in a nimble manner. What that means, in somewhat plainer English, is they have the ability to evaluate a situations, make a plan, learn from it, and ultimately act in a responsible manner. Along those lines, more recently I have done some personal analysis and put more focus on what I call “hard times ahead”. With my disaster preps more or less in order, I want to ensure that my own household will get through a period of difficulty when, for instance, there is not enough food, work, or money to go around."
"OPSEC – Operations Security, is very important part of protecting the safety of you and your family before and after a major emergency. The most important part of practicing OPSEC is blending in…don’t draw attention to yourself. Let’s go through the OPSEC process before and after a major disaster."
"When disaster strikes, usually the first thing that happens is the power goes out. While earthquakes and hurricanes ravage nearby cities, your home might experience nothing more than a power outage. If that happens, count yourself lucky. But what if the power stays out for a long time? Not just a day, but a week or two? Or longer? How well would you manage? Would you be sitting in silent darkness, shivering, eating beans from a can, and hoping looters don’t come to your neighborhood? Or would you be safe and comfortable like any other night? This post assumes you’ve already stocked on at least a month’s worth of food and drinking water. But just having food and water isn’t enough. You also need to answer the following questions."
"A couple of years ago, I used to own a Jeep Wrangler which was my pride and joy. I outfitted the vehicle with a 4″ lift, 33″ tires and all the bells and whistles. The last item which I wanted was a nice winch. Winches are great tools to get your vehicle unstuck, get other vehicles unstuck, or even used as a rescue operation to haul persons or gear. The only problem with winches is that they are expensive, heavy, must remain fixed to the vehicle and use electricity. However, there are cheaper and more practical solutions! In this article, I’ll discuss some cheap alternatives to the winch and how they are used for a variety of preparedness situations."
"No one wants to live in fear. Being prepared for any situation doesn’t mean we live in fear. It means we fear less because we are ready for whatever may come. This includes situations when self defense for women and children is needed."
"In the last year I have gotten rid of most of the chemicals in our home. I hadn’t thought that those chemicals had bothered me in any way. I was wrong. If I go down the cleaner aisle at the grocery store I get a headache almost instantly. Who knew? I sure didn’t. The toxins were having a negative impact on me and I wasn’t even aware because I didn’t know any better. Now I do and I want to share what I have learned with you so you too can get rid of the chemicals and toxins in your home."
"Over the years I have been involved in many “first aid” training courses. These courses focused on providing very basic care until professional medical help could be accessed. As an EMT my training assumes that I have advanced medical support and prompt access to an ER or Trauma Center. Even wilderness oriented first aid courses assume that advanced medical care will be available within 24-hours or less. While first-aid training is a good first step in medical emergency preparedness it may be inadequate for true survival situations. If you truly anticipate a large-scale, long-term disaster where the EMS system and hospital access will be impaired or completely dysfunctional for long-periods of time then you must take your medical capabilities to a higher level. The survival medic must be able to handle normal medical emergencies under normal conditions and understand the practical and legal limitations while operating under the “good Samaritan” protocols. But the survival medic must also have more advanced capabilities that are not permissible under normal conditions. These are skills and techniques that are only to be used when there is no reasonable expectation of access to professional medical help or facilities medical help. Such conditions can arise deep in the wilderness or when there is a breakdown of all medical support systems."
